Conventions & Symbols

This manual uses the following conventions:

 In most cases the font for file names and command

statements is 9 point Arial Narrow Bold. An example is:

DEVICE=NT960.SYS a=D000 p=300 n=1 i=3 d=COM

 Note: the "Note" convention informs you of important

messages, exceptions, or special cases.

 Example: the "Example" convention outlines hardware

and software installation examples.

 Technical Tip: the "Technical Tip" convention offers

technical tips to assist you in hardware and software

installation or problems.




